To make this funny card you will be going to need:
Free iCarrot Pop-Up Card template – you may download it here.- Print out of the inside part of the iCarrot pop-up card either from PDF of Silhouette Studio files (included in the free template along with the SVG file).
- Nice and heavy gray cardstock. I recommend using this one.
- Silver patterned paper for the covers
- Baking foil (Tip: you may as well reuse some foil from a chocolate bar).
- Liquid glue – my favorite one is Martha Steward gel adhesive.
- Ranger glossy accents.
- Tape glider or scor tape (optional).
- A good craft knife even if you have an electronic cutting machine (to make a cut on a “keyboard” for a cat).
- 3D foam dots.
- Scissors.
- Pick me up tool (for tiny details), If you have amazon prime, it may be cheaper here.
- 1 small rhinestone for a cat’s eye. Or, you may leave the cut out as is as it has an eye already.
I cut all my templates for cards using Silhouette Cameo3 electronic cutting machine – my favorite time-saver!
It is possible to make this card using scissors and a craft knife, however, it may be time-consuming to cut out the “Happy April 1st Day!” message. You may print out it and cut along the edges instead.
